Social Responsibility
The Lugaris team is conscious of the fact there are people who suffer and who are socially excluded. That is why we want to responsibly contribute and to the extent of our capacities to help cover one of the basic needs of those less fortunate: food.
Through our Social Responsibility Policy, we facilitate the transfer of all food products left by our guests at the apartments at their departure, excluding alcoholic beverages, to the neighbouring church, the Santa María del Taulat (as long as the food is in optimum conditions for consumption, in original packaging, unopened and not expired).
With this first objective we contribute to helping those in need. We know that this is a small gesture, a first step, and that in the future we must improve and broaden this help, with the goal of giving back to the community part of what it gives us.
We take to heart what Mother Teresa said in her day, “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”
